Friday stuff

Friday already? Where did that week go? It is a mad blur of completing my last assignment for the year (just 2 exams to go now), rescuing students who are on the last stages of submitting dissertations, playing wargames, walking the dog and falling into bed at night!

The weather has been wonderful for the last few days, but unfortunately there is the threat of rain for the weekend. Shame, as we were hoping to get out for some tennis. Mrs RC likes seeing me running around in shorts... ;-)

I was also hoping to do a barbecue and make a load of my Rockin'Reggae Pasta Salad. Maybe I will organise it anyway and we can eat indoors if necessary.

Let's hope that the forecast is wrong as usual!

Oh, I took some photos of my finished Saxon and Norman soldiers and was going to post them, but the pics came out too gloomy for some reason. I will do some more over the weekend and post them on Monday.

I also realised that I haven't played a guitar in far too long - must be over a week! Think I will have to get out The Baby, crank up the amp and have a blast...

Have a great weekend.

I hope the sun shines where ever you are.

Winter is SO last season...

Happy Friday.

Sid - But I thought it was always sunny down there, even in Winter! Another illusion shattered...

Wreggie - Have a great day. The time difference always trips me up. I suddenly find myself talking to sone nutter who is awake at 4am!

Are you complaining or bragging? Sometimes it's better to be busy and be bored (idle hands sometimes lead to crazy things).

Enjoy the weekend!

And quit making fun of us nutters...

agg79 - A bit of each, I guess? Complaining that the week has vanished but bragging that I have done a good job.

Sorry - I am not a morning person and the thought of being up that early...

It's been sunny all week here and I'm bored with it. Anyway, we need the rain.

Enjoy your weekend. Hope you get to play your guitar.

Our beautiful warm temps are dropping about 20 degrees and it's going to rain. But I think I'll be too busy to notice.

Winter IS so yesterday. . .

Have a great one! Enjoy! Even if it rains. I'm off for my Saturday AM run.

Marie - But I was working through all that sun! I didn't have a chance to get bored with it!

Terri - That is good - if the nasty stuff can get used up while you are busy, you will be ready for the nice stuff!

Jen - Good to hear it! Don't let things slip now!

Um Naief - Didn't really rain over the weekend, just had bands of thick black cloud going over between breaks of amazing sunshine. Guitar was fun, spend an hour or so doodling around a blues riff that I came up with. Nice.
