Here comes the rain again...

The weather has been incredibly annoying today.

When I got up and looked out of the window, the sky was clear and blue - a beautiful morning! Yay! I almost put on shorts!

By the time I was ready to leave a ton of clouds had appeared and it looked like rain. In fact it started while I was putting my coat on! On the ride to work I got totally soaked in freezing rain. Not nice. I did, however, miss the hail that caught my wife while she was out walking Custard the dog, so I guess I should count my blessings :-/

This afternoon has been gloriously hot and sunny, my office is like a greenhouse, but I can see that as home-time approaches the sky is getting darker and the clouds are rolling in. [Sign]

Yes, the first drops of rain have just started to fall...

Now that STINKS!! It's nice and warm and sunny while you can't enjoy it but while you must be riding in it...it's crappy out!!

Does it rain a lot there?

It had been SOOO nice here and then WHAM...cold temps and a call for snow that started on Monday...it won't warm up again till the weekend. I even have our heat on again! STINK!!

Annie Lennox is singing in my head... "Here comes the rain again..."

I can sympathize with your weather frustrations. I think this global warming thing is a bunch of baloney!

We've had very weird weather in our Longhorn City of late as well. The husband and I were freezing so badly at night, I had to re-pull out the down comforter!

Gah!

Hope you didn't get too soaked once again. One per day is enough.

I love rain!
we live in a semi-desert and rain is rare so when it comes I feel invigorated (ok I can't spell it but I feel it)

Logzie - I think we get a bit more rain than you do, fairly evenly spread out over the year, on average. Long gaps in the summer cause water shortages, while sometimes it all comes at once and we get flooding - like last summer.

Terri - Hah, I knew I would get someone! Well, technically, global warming won't just make the weather hotter everywhere, its main effect will be to make the weather less predictable and more extreme. Some would say that the snow this year is the result of global warming.

Jen - Got wet going home, got wet walking the dog, got wet coming to work this morning. I can't remember the last time that happened.

tz - I guess you think of rain like we think of snow - "Oooh look! It's snowing!"
