Not if you woke up to what I woke up to.
Custard the labrador had "toilet problems" in the night.
He usually warns us, but either he didn't have time or we didn't hear.
It was in the hall...
and the kitchen...
and the living room...
and the back porch...
Nice...
Have a great day!

Arghhhh, what a shitty start to the day..! Hope it gets progressively better (grin).
Oh my.... he did spread his custardly goodness all around then.
I am intrigued; the dog sleeps inside the house? Does he have a kennel?
Shrinky - the day is getting much better - but that is not difficult I guess!
Shadowthorne - Yes, our dogs live indoors, no kennels. The rabbits DO live outside, though.
Poor Custard...
or should I say poor RC and Mrs. RC?
hope he feels better tonight!!
Kenady - I think it is "Poor everyone"...
Oh No, that's a bummer for sure! Hope Custard is feeling better.
You won't believe this, but one of my Labbies had tummy issues last night too!
Fortunately, I only had to clean doggie vomit this morning.
No, I don't know many folks from your neck of the woods...However, I met a delightful mother and 2 teen daughters from Newcastle upon Tyne in Alaska a few years ago...We were all staying at the same lodge and had several meals and went dog-sledding together...I called them the "Brit Chicks"...they got a kick out of my very southern accent, and of couse, I loved their accent, as well!

Unfortunately, that's one of the horrible side effects we put up with for the love of our pets. When our cat meows loudly in the middle of the night, we know he's hocking up a fur ball. Eew.
Ms K - The Newcastle accent can be a real challenge! Dog-sledding sounds like fun! Any photos and stories to share? Would make a nice blog post, unless you have done it already.
Terri - So true. At least dogs don't do the fur ball thing!
Ugh. Sorry to hear Custard was having issues. Must have ate something that didn't agree with him. We've been there as well. As Terri said, that's one of the prices you pay for pets. That's why I invested in a carpet cleaner (and we're thinking of wood floors).
And nothing wakes me up faster than the sound of a dog retching somewhere in the house....
