Brain Dead

That is me today, Brain Dead.

This morning arrived far too soon, ending a broken night.  I had a couple of beers with a friend on the way home - the stuff was called Blackadder.  Great name for a beer, huh?  It was amazing stuff, just slid down while we chatted about anything and everything.  But once inside it turned nasty.  My insides have never been so clean...

OK, TMI, I know.  Maybe I should delete that last paragraph.  I mean, who wants to read that?  OK, I will wipe it.  But if I do I will only have two and a half lines of writing and will have to think of something else to write about.

Nah, my brain is too tired to think of anything else, so it will have to stay.  Sorry guys.

Have a great weekend!  Not sure what is in store for me yet, but whatever it is it won't include more Blackadder!

Sounds like nasty stuff. Too bad it found its way into your intestines. Hope you feel better today.

We are having thunderstorms last night and today. It is so cool and refreshing. Windows under porch roof are open, cool breeze feels great.

"See the little goblin, see his little feet, and his little nosey-wose, isn't the goblin sweet?"

TechnoBabe - Feeling better as the day goes on, thanks. We need a good thunderstorm here too, but not something that knocks down trees thanks!

Wigsf - Hm, now you have me worrying that Baldrick is the master brewer...

Okay, this stuff. You got me curious. Is it a beer or is it a scotch whiskey. Because I just found a series of scotch whiskeys called Black Adder. There's a 17yr, a 15yr and a PEAT REEK ISLAY SINGLE MALT. And they're pretty pricey. But know I want some dammit!

wigsf - this was a dark beer - think of a mix of Guiness, English bitter and red wine...

Black Adder....that should have warned you. POISON! Ah, well, I see we still have lessons to learn...youth might be an excuse, haha. Hope you're back to normal today! And, no, I have never lived in a house with either a storm shelter or a basement even though I have lived in Oklahoma 54 years. I've never actually seen a tornado either, except on live television coverage of storms. I've seen their damage, though, and it is a horrible, chilling sight. We just go to a room without windows in the center portion of our house, like an interior bathroom or closet. That's the best I have, that and lots of prayer!

Ninny - I have heard about those safe rooms too - they seem to work which is what matters. Of course a quick prayer can't hurt either! I refuse to grow up so in a way I can blame youth...

Sounds like a miserable night. It's always the worst to have to try to get through your normal routine after one of those. Hope you're feeling better!

I prefer the dark/stout/bock beers over the lighter ales, but they can come on strong. Black Adder sounds like something I'd try (once), but I'd hope it wouldn't have the same side effect. We've got some unique craft beers over here that require some "getting used to". Worse beer I ever had was some stuff called Rauchen Bier in Germany (rauchen means smoke). It tasted like someone put out a burning stick in it.

Haaaaaaa, I love the comment about Baldrick being the master brewer! You poor bunny, that's too much suffering for such little pleasure.. hope you're back to normal today. Sunday promises a drop of sunshine, that'll make a nice change, eh?
