Another walk in the woods...

It was a cold morning - the heavy frost slowly melted away as we wandered through the woods.

Holly!  How festive can you get?

I think that these flowers hung on a bit too long...

It was a great morning - must get Custard on the bus and bring him out to explore - and meet all the other dogs that we met on the way too!

You can take Custard on the bus? I don't think they'd let me take either one of my mutts on the Metro, no matter how innocent they look.

I do agree that Custard would love the walk in the woods. Why should we be the only ones to enjoy nature?

Ahhhh, our glen is full of holly right now! Nothing better than a ramble out in the countryside, is there? Some of the best things in life really IS free. We've had torrential rain for days over here, shame it's too muddy to venture out..

Agg79 - Oh yes, a man and his dog and all that!

Shrinky - We had masses of rain over the weekend, but it is now cold and dry - great for walking!

wReggie - I thought so!

Gorgeous photos! I'd have a hey-day there with my camera. And I don't think I've ever seen real holly before.

Terri - You haven't seen real holly? Wow! This one was around 30 feet high. Wish I had taken a full size pic now! And yes, you would have been able to take some great pics - I did my best.

Did you pick some holly to decorate inside your house?

I can't believe that you've had frost....I'm so jealous because I love winter for these next three months then I'm over it and ready for warm weather....but right now we are having temps in the 70's....that's Fahrenheit (not sure about Celsius)!!!
