Lunchtime in the Sun

Mrs RC found a lame excuse to come into Canterbury today, so she visited me at lunchtime.

We went and sat in the garden that I have been visiting this week.

The sun was really warm, and we had a wonderful time sitting and chatting and generally feeling like a daft young couple who can't stand to be away from each other.  I think the impending honeymoon has done something to us!

Sadly the string quartet wasn't there today, but hey ho, you can't have everything.

Mrs RC decided that I would need a desert, so she bought me this.

Mmmm, good, eh?  Even better that there were 2 of them!

On the way back to work after lunch, I did one of my point and click photos - standing on tippy-toes, stretching as high as I could into a tree...

Spring is here, guys!

Well, maybe.  The weekend weather looks a bit bad for most of the country, but hopefully our corner will escape as it sometimes does...

A dessert picnic with your true love in a beautiful garden on a warm sunshiny day... who needs Malta? ;)

Spring has really arrived there, hasn't it? The tree blossoms are beautiful!

We're going to have temperatures warm enough tomorrow to leave work at lunch time and walk outside to get sub sandwiches. Mmmm... can't wait!

Of course, I doubt anyone will be bringing me such a delicious dessert as yours!

Kidding. I think I'm just really jealous. But happy for you lovebirds!!

You guys are so cute! What's that, some kind of chocolate mouse over cake with another chocolate layer?

Meleah Rebecca - Hooooooray indeed!

ShadowRun300 - After sitting in the sun like that we want Malta even more!

Terri - Aw, you should drop a few heavy hints to Mark about lunchtime dates...

Abby - I am thinking about asking if they have a regular practice session or something...

Riot Kitty - Thanks. The base was made of crushed biscuit, the main part was a cross between mousse and cheese cake....
