OK, the kids have now passed their nasty cough on to me. It is the sort of cough that really hurts your chest, so I am eager to shake it as soon as possible so we can get in the last of the Christmas stuff without people thinking that a zombie plague has struck me down.
I have taken suitable drugs had a lay in and am still in my warm and fluffy dressing gown, sitting on the sofa trying to find something worth watching on TV.
Ah, poor me...

Poor me too. I woke up sick. Throat is so sore. No diving as planned this morning.
Aw, poor infectious baby (draping cling-film around you before administering my comfort hug), I wish you many hot-water-bottles, regular warm-toddies, and a re-run of all the episodes of Red-Dwarf on the telly. Hope you ride it through in time to enjoy a fabulous Christmas (x).
oooh that's a bummer, hope you feel better! Chicken soup, hot tea and honey and lots of rest (free medical advice, don't you like knowing a nurse :D)
You probably got it from me. Nothing says Merry Christmas like a nasty cold.
Families do tend to share all, don't they? Sorry you are feeling poorly. Do you drink tea with lemon and honey? It always helps me. I use decaf green tea and plenty of lemon and honey. I wish I could share some of the homemade soup I made yesterday.
Gosh RC, I'm dealing with nearly identical symptoms today - darn all this global sharing! And me with no warm, fluffy dressing gown.
But I just had a big bowl of chicken soup liberally laced with tabasco sauce and I'm starting to come around. Get well!
Jake is getting over similar symptoms at our house and I am hoping his germy germs don't come crawling in my direction.
Feel better soon!
Yeah, Lam's passed his germies on to me. I'm not all coughing and mucous like him, but I'm tired, and my innards are definitely fighting something.
((HUGS)), my dear. Getting sick in time for Christmas truly sucks. xo
