While reading a book in the bath...

I came across a wonderful, thought provoking line.

Two friends were talking and one said to the other:

"There are people out there who don't know you. What a terrible fate that must be!"

It made me think of my wonderful blog friends and how my life has been affected by knowing you all.

My Blogging friends are sometimes better than my real... um, wait... bloggers are real... so, um.. lets see...Starting over here-- My Blogging friends are sometimes better than the friends that I can reach out and touch with my hands! I can always expect a smile or laugh, and sometime even a tear, as I read through my friends blogs. My "other real" friends are awesome, too, but in a whole 'nuther way.
Thank You, CRC, for being one of my (real) Blogging Friends!

Oh Yeah, I forgot to ask... Were you reading a book? If so, would you be willing to share it with us? I am always looking for a new book to read.

It has been a real pleasure getting to know you!

I don't know how people survive without knowing me...

Wreggie - Glad you agree.

Michele - I know exactly what you mean. The book is "The Discovery of Heaven" by Harry Mulisch. It takes a very unpleasant angle on the nature of God/Angels/etc (Mrs RC just finished it so I know how it ends, but I am still enjoying the story) so be warned if youir beliefs are easily offended!

Chris - Thanks, and you are right - no wonder the first 40 odd years of my life were so empty!

Ali - Hey, you can't punish him for telling the truth! :-)

Kiki - Thanks - you are pretty awesome yourself!

James - Yes, indeed! Such recklessness, but they really took the wind out of my poor troops! That was a really good day!

I can't tell you how many times I tell stories at home about what's going on in the lives of my blog friends. My family has begun to know all of you through my eyes because I often can't help but share.

Sitting in Silence - Yeah.

Terri - I think I am getting quite bad at that too. I keep finding myself starting a sentence with "On one of the blogs I read..."
