Ah...Me like!...Me like!!! Keep em coming RC...I love me some Video Blogs!!
I am trying my best to start getting to places early so that I can have time to "twiddle my thumbs". I am usually the one screaming into the parking lot and slamming on my breaks so hard that we all lunge forward when I stop. I am sure that sort of thing is adding to my stress levels! LOL!! But I have never been an "on time" person...ever. I'm trying though.
Yesterday Chuck had a dentist appointment and I had a doctor appointment at the same time so he took Logan & Kenzie with him and I took Ella with me. He dropped me off but I got done way before him so Ella and I had to wait outisde for about 20 minutes. That 20 minutes was great! We played and looked at picture in my purse and it was great one on one time with Ella. I must incorporate this sort of thing into my life more often!!
Okay...it's not that easy...I have tried to fake myself out with the watch thing...but it doesn't work as I KNOW that it's fast. But...I do beg my husband to go around and fast forward all the clocks and watches when I am not looking...but he has not done it yet. Somehow he keeps forgetting. So...it's all his fault! right? LOL!
ok so i commented before i played your tape...I have no idea why I was shocked that you have a british accent...I knew you lived in kent...but when i read your comments or blog I read it in american accent...
anyhow..the wait thing, i'm always early...i bring a book now whenever i have to meet someone so i can catch a couple pages of reading...it's actually kind of nice and makes me less upset with the other person...
I love the video blogs! They are such fun! I tried to do one yesterday morning while sitting in the warm, morning sun, but my camera is an actual camera with a little video capability and there was too much background noise. You couldn't hear me talking. So I scrapped it. I'll try again soon.
tz - You give me an American accent? Well Britain has been called the 51st State... Also, I usually carry a book with me, and often read while walking down the road. This time I left it behind. Doh!
Terri - I have got one of those DVD cam-corders and it works great for everything except indoor still photography unless you have lots of lighting. I used it for those sunsets. Resolution could be better, I guess, but the overall result is good I think. Thought you would like the map!
Not pointless at all. Good idea to video while waiting. I don't like being early for anything, I only want to be right on time so then I end up being late which makes most poeple I know crazy. When early I always think of all the things I could have accomplished in that time of waiting. Silly I know!

Try re-setting your watch so you always think it is later than it really is!
I hate rushing around, so working on this will certainly be good for you.
Your 20 minutes with Ella sound great - and yes, we all need more time like that.

Logzie/Teresa - Sure! It is always the man's fault!
Remember that line in "Bug's Life"? "When you are in charge, everything is YOUR FAULT!"
This, of course, assumes that Chuck is in charge in your house. I am not in charge in my house...
hahaha, i've seen this one before and love it...
frankly it's how my brain works too..

That map is hilarious and SO true!

I must shop like a man. But maybe that's because kids make everything in life more like a mission than a tour...

Love the map. Very true.
I so love the video blogs! Thank you so much for doing another one!
I ABHOR being late, even though I am often late when it is not work related.
The map is super true!
Jenelle - Were you like that BEFORE kids? Assuming you can remember life before kids, which I can't!
Chachi - Trying to be "on time" is no good - something will always screw things up.
Kenady - Glad you like the map - I am sure this is taken into account when planning shop locations and layouts!
RC, I am just glad that the map showed my favorite store!!!!
Okay, I didn't get to finish my last post, I was burning the toast...I love the map, not sure if it was meant for me, but I love it....
The video blog is lovely, I think that you accent is wonderful, I think its why I'm addicted to the BBC/America channel here!!!
Kiki - you were certainly one of the first I thought of when I saw that map! Glad you enjoy my videos - more to come, I am sure!
