OK, I know it is not a good idea if 40 year olds strut around as if they were 14, but I really feel that if a guy really truly grows up he may as well lay down and die. There would be little purpose in continuing to live.
I mean, look at Hook in Peter Pan. He grew up and look at him! Not nice and certainly not happy!
I completely agree with you! Growing up is a good thing, but if you can't hang onto some of your youthful ideas and enthusiasm, you just get old and crotchety. That is why I will never grow up!
Growing up sucks. Work, bills, hearburn, more bills. I miss those days back when I was young & good looking. Of course, you are only as old as you feel or young as you act...
I just posted a HUGE comment and promptly lost it, suffice it to say it was a quasi rant on how people don't always dress "age appropriate" which makes them look silly and desperate....the only thing that bugs me about aging is dressing those kinds of people!!

I was looking for a like button. Too much time I've spent on Facebook.
I'm 50, and still fear growing up!

Terri - Good to hear it!
wReggie - Well I guess it was a short post...
Shrinky - Hey, don't make 50 sound so bad - I am 47...
Agg79 - As young as you act - I like that!

We all have to grow up but that doesn't mean we turn into grumpy lazy seniors. Ha.
