Still Dead...

As you can see from my last post, the weekend started off "interesting".

The companies that were taking money have been sorted out by Mrs RC - money being refunded immediately, no argument...

Sunday was more "entertaining". We adopted another rabbit, who is being called Blossom, making them Bubbles, Buttercup and Blossom, The Powerpuff Girls! Except that Bubbles is a boy and we aren't quite sure about Blossom yet, so he/she is being kept seperate from the others for now. They are enjoying rubbing noses through the wire, though. Will post new photos when Blossom is less shy.

We also watched the England vs Germany match in the World Cup. I was watching with out youngest and they my daughter joined us. I told her that if she only watched one game in the whole competition this was the one to watch - everyone will be talking about it for years to come regardless of the result - and how right I was! What a corker of a match! Didn't England suck?

Cheering on Ghana now!

I bumped into a friend this morning. He told me that last night he went to see a hooker.

"I want to be totally humiliated, crushed and degraded. I want to feel like the lowest life form on the earth. Can you do that?"

"Sure."

She made him wear an England shirt! (Boom boom).

After that football match, maybe being dead isn't all that bad.

Awww.... rabbits. Love them when they are small, fluffy and cute. But when they have grown and eats like no tomorrow, let's make bunny burgers!

The whole planet watched EPL. And now the humiliation of the World Cup. How low can the (English football) gods go? :P

Shadowthorne - It is incredible how much these little rabbits can eat, I must say! As for the league, I think everyone now sees how much we rely on foreign players....

Cheering for Ghana eh??? Did they beat the U.S??? Grrrrr! I was so hopeful that we could prove that we do like "football" and can be a contender in that sport too....ah, well next time I guess!!

Glad the presentation went well, but being dead is no good....hope they get that sorted out soon!!!

If seen my share of "football" when I was in Germany and I can say that soccer is very much dominated by individuals. Guys that shoot and don't miss when it counts.

For a dead guy, you're pretty lively!

I have not followed "football" at all. I'll have to take your word for it. We're very familiar with that disappointed feeling you have in your team. In this state, we have a football team (the other kind) called the Minnesota Vikings and they've been disappointing fans for years!

Those companies automatically deducting money from your account are scary. How could that happen? I hope you get that sorted out.

Claire - that is one car full! Glad you recovered nice and quickly!

Kiki - I think the US team showed a lot of promise - next time they will be a force to be reconned with!

Sparky - Individuals are important but without good teamwork it all goes to waste.

Terri - I have heard of the Vikings (used to follow American football quite a lot many years ago) but I don't think I ever saw a game of theirs - over here they only concentrated on the really big teams - but I guess if you only get to show one match a week...

Technobabe - Mrs RC sorted them out pretty quickly...
