Why...

does "free" often mean " totally useless?

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention in my last post - it was my idea to take the door off so that we could get the furniture through. Mrs RC didn't think it would make any difference, but it did. That means that I have now been right 5 times in 25 years! Once every 5 years - does that sound about right? Roll on 2015!

Oh well, back to trying to sort out my "free" stuff...

When free doesn't mean "totally useless" it will mean "ha ha, it's your problem now, sucker!"

Nothing is ever "free". Some of my most expensive ventures/additions started out as "free".

And congrats for being right! 5 out 25? You are beating the odds.
