It was cold last night!

Looking down from the hill that overlooks Canterbury:

In the countryside between home and work:

One for James, the only fixed defence for miles around - don't know how this was supposed to stop Hitler!

Thanks Terri!

You know I still cringe when I look at the time on some of your comments - even if it is an hour or so out!

These are all so good - and so different from my views of where I live now - thank you for posting these.

Rock Chef - the true time on that comment was about 4:30 am. I get up early, try to see at least a couple of my favorite blogs and hit the shower by 5:00. What can I say? I'm a morning person.

Looks nice John. About that pillbox, I dunno but Spike Milligan would have found a way..

First one is so my fave! I love fog, we hardly ever get fog here!

Princess - So glad you like it!

Ali - Thanks!

Marie - Hi! Thanks!

Claire - Thanks - will post more soon, I am sure.

Terri - 4.30! I don't know how you do it!

James - Or Clive Dunn!

TZ - The first one really is the favourite isn't it? I like fog but it gets so dangerous on the roads - a very mixed blessing!

Oh yeah Corperal Jones could have won the war single handed....good thing for the Germans he was never unleashed.

I'm trying to comment on your most recent post, but there's no link for some reason. Anywho, no, you're not a bad dad for serving reindeer steaks. I'm making "reindeer droppings" for the office Christmas party. If you can't laugh, then what's the point, right?

Thanks for the Brian May clip. Anyone who knows the intricacies of astrophysics and can rock out like that deserves major recognition. Queen is hardly recognized for anything but their 'big hits' over here. Sad but true.
