Yesterday was nuts - had about 3 things all happening together plus the printers were playing up making life even more interesting :-(
I am glad you liked the pics of my decorations. I have been hanging things from the ceiling for a while now, I live the effect, makes the hall more cave-like.
James - I think you must be the only person in the world who does not like Winnie the Pooh. Don't you even like the original books? The first cartoons that were based on the books? What sort of heretic are you? :-)
I still have the big Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet to sort out - these will be with the sleigh that will be going in the hall now. I hope to make progress with this at the weekend.
I won't be around much on Thursday and Friday - doing short days as Mrs RC is going to visit her dad for his birthday, so it is back to being Mr Mom for a few days. Not complaining, of course, I enjoy the extra time with the kids.
More as soon as I can manage it!

I think everyone's days are a bit manic this month. (Except for me. Little to do at work and not enough hours in the day when at home.) I'm glad you had a chance to show us the decorations. I think you'll have to forgive James for not being on board with the Winnie the Pooh theme. He might just be a little manic from his 64 hour work weeks! :-)
Enjoy your time with the kids. I'm sure you'll have adventures to share about it next week.
Terri - Oh I forgive James - didn't mean to give him a hard time - I DID put a smiley! But hours like that do get to you. I did that for a while, never again!
Yes, next week should be entertaining!
Okay...I was not going to say anything but since you brought it up again...I am also not a Whinny the Pooh fan at. all. I know you are going to think this is a bit 'over the top' but my reasonings are that I didn't want my kids to hear the constant complaining and grumbling from the donkey...they do it enough on their own...and I never got into it as a kid so that might be part of it.
I still love the fact that you do that in memory of Sophie...I think that is fantastic! :)
...you still like me?...
I love, love, LOVE Pooh's Grotto!
Well done. I have always enjoyed Pooh and friends. As a kid, they're a cartoon - something fun and different on TV (not like Saturday morning cartoons). So, I didn't get into who did what and how or even read into it. It's just Pooh, Piglet, Eyor (sp?) & friends having adventures and trying to find honey. . . .
When I was little my parents called me Tigger because I was in constant motion....I've had a "thing" for them ever since!!!
There aren't enough hours in the day when I'm at work....my day just flies by and I'm always staying later to get more done!!!
Teresa - another heretic? Eeyore is my favourite character! On the other hand, I can't stand Barney the Dinosaur - he is creapy! Of course I still like you, you banana!
Jen - I don't think there is anything especially deep about Winnie the Pooh - just being friends and eating honey, with a warning that if you get too fat you will get stuck in small places!
Kiki - Tigger? I love it! Do you mind if I call you Tigger from time to time?
Great blog, I really enjoyed reading it
ummmmmm . . . . . closet non-Winnie-The-Pooh fan here. Sorry~ Never read it as a kid so I just never got into it. Then when I met hubby, all of his brothers and sisters called him "Pooh Bear" He's 30 years old. Yeah, he's the youngest, but still. So now I just find the whole thing irritating. Otherwise, that bear is very cute and witty~ Personally, I like Tigger from the few stories I read later on.
And yes, Barney is a million times worse.
DD2 - Thanks - I dropped by your blog - interesting stuff! I will be back soon!
Miss Got Wings - I don't seriously expect everyone to love Pooh! I love that your hubby is called Pooh Bear, though!
