Now I am going to pick your brains!

No, I haven't turned into a Zombie - not yet, anyway!

My department is talking about doing something to raise money for the Children in Need appeal, which happens every year here in the UK.

They raise loads of money and do great stuff for all sorts of kids all over the country.

We are talking about coming in fancy dress and tapping the students for a bit of cash next week. I was wondering about doing a bit of busking around the Uni, and this is where I want to ask for suggestions. What would be a suitable song - preferably something short and easy!

"Help!" by the Beatles?

"Money" by Pink Floyd?

Come on! There must be something really good that I can learn!

Given the choice between those two, I vote for Help. It's good and upbeat. I can't think of any others at the moment, but I'll get back to you if something inspiring strikes!

I bet you can haul in a bunch of donations by performing. The students will love it.

The old Billy Swan one...I Can Help.

Great idea. I think you should go for Help.

Sitting in Silence - This is Children in Need, not Comic Relief!

Terri - Thanks. I think Help might be the one.

James - Wow, that is a blast from the past! And you even remember the guy's name!

Marie - Thanks. Another vote for Help!

Unless you want to do a little Joe Cocker... I get by with a little help from my friends! No fancy dance moves required either! Just pretend like you're convulsing while you sing and play!

Terri - that is really another Beatles song, but Joe Cocker did make it his own, I must admit!

I have the PERFECT song for that - and one of my personal favourites - Money (That's what I want), by The Flying Lizards.

That's a GREAT song!!! :)

Ali - I did think of that - but not their version of what is another Beatles song! Good suggestion!
