Arrived in Malta for the annual field trip. Everything went fine until we got to the hotel, where a rooming mix-up meant a bit more sharing than intended - not to worry, all will be sorted tomorrow.

It was a bit hazy with a good breeze going. Tomorrow threatens to be quite hot with a strong wind - perfect for sunburn. Going to cover up well tomorrow...

Sunscreen, man, the key word is: sunscreen. Look promising despite the accommodation snafu. Usually that is a sign of an interesting trip and I hope that holds up for you as well.
I hope the hotel is able to get the room situation figured out. If they're anything like us, they feel just as bad about it.
Hopefully everything else will go uphill from here. The weather seems to be a sure sign that it will!
We did get free wine at dinner...
I wish there was windscreen that worked like sunscreen. Enjoy the sun! I look forward to more photos - a must for us vicarious livers.
