Catching the moment

A couple of weeks ago, one of my readers hinted that I was spending time taking photos of sunsets when I could be doing something else more interesting.

Now I must admit that I love taking photos like the one above, but not to the extent that I make special time for it - I take them while walking the dogs - my camera hangs around my neck and if I see something, CLICK, I get a pic of it.

The following DOES NOT HAPPEN in the RC house:

"Sorry lads, can't hang out with you tonight - I am taking photos of sunsets."

"Sorry kids, dinner will be late today - there is a great sunset out there!"

"Not tonight, Mrs RC...."

Your reader is silly. Your photos are great! And nice to know you're not starving your kids or your wife because of time spent taking them :)

As much as I love your sunset photos, I'm happy to hear you're not ignoring your family's needs. Sounds like you have your priorities straight. ;)

Just because you take a lot of really good pictures doesn't mean you are ignoring other priorities. You are just capturing the moment to share with everyone. If pictures are worth 1000 words, yours speak volumes.

Riot Kitty - Thanks - just wanted to set the record straight...

ShadowRun300 - Yes, any sign of slipping priorities and I soon hear about it - and quite right too!

Agg79 - Thank you!

Just continue with the way things are.... it seems to be working OK. And there lots of evenings where there is no sunset, so make the most of those gorgeous skies.

Shammickite - Thanks, I will do just that!

I would REALLY worry about you if you were pushing Mrs. RC aside for the sunsets! :-)

Glad to hear that no one is suffering as a result of your photo skills!

Terri - Yes, I would worry too! :-)

You have been spending more time with your camera than I have been. I was actually so busy when I visited my mom I took very few pictures. It is fun seeing your part of the world through your pictures.
