Woohoo!

Official results for degrees are released today.

I have known my results for some time now (unavoidable given my job!), but it is good to know officially and to be able to tell others.

I got a 1st.

But it was not easy, fitting study around a fulltime job and family, dogs, rabbits...

Phew...

Graduation is not until January, but I will be going - Mrs RC is insisting - she wants photos of me in the cap and gown, and considering she put up with me while I wrote my dissertation I can't really deny her that.

Have a great weekend!  I intend to, even though the-

No, I will not complain about the weather!

I intend to enjoy the weekend, with it's promise of very heavy rain and thunderstorms.  I love a good thunderstorm, don't you?

You don't even know how much I would LOVE a good thunderstorm right now. We've not had rain in over 3 weeks, and it's been well over 100 degrees for at least 2 weeks straight.
Oops... I'm complaining, aren't I?
Congratulations on your 1st! Mrs. RC seems to be very proud, as she should be! It's nice of you to go along with her wishes. :) Enjoy your weekend!

ShadowRun300 - I can see why you would like a good storm to clear things! Hope you get some rain soon!

Oh poop, I just wrote a comment but it disappeared.
We need rain here in S Ontario too, a nice violent Tstorm would be just the ticket.
The backs of this complex where I live just had lots of sod put down (I mean turf if you are British) and we've had the sprinklers going full blast. But I hate to waste water when it's in short supply.

I'd love one, as it's supposed to be 90 here tomorrow. Heat makes me cranky! But not as cranky as the idea of having sex with Tom Cruise.

1st! Outstanding man! Great job and congratulations1 January is just a few months off and I cannot wait to see you in all decked out in your cap and gown. It's been a long road, but definitely well earned. Enjoy your accomplishment with the family, dogs, and the rest of the warren. You've earned your thunder. Kudos.

Congrats on achieving a first! I really don't know how you managed it. And you continued to blog the whole time too! You're Superman.

It was 104 degrees in the city today and a big thunderstorm is brewing at the moment. I don't mind 'em so much when they happen at night.

Hooray for you. Proud of you. I know your family wants to help you celebrate. You accomplished a lot along with your job and your other interests and still had special time with your family.

I like thunderstorms too. My kids remember the huge storms from when we lived in Virginia and I tell them about the storms here in Nebraska.
