Yes, today is the last day of my Christmas holiday - back to normal tomorrow. Not that this is a totally bad thing as I have been a bit of a slob for the last 2 weeks and need to get back in the saddle - literally! I had to feed Hunphrey the pony this morning and riding up the hill to his field almost killed me!
I have continued to have fun with my new camera and it is also good to have my own laptop to post them with. Here are a few new pics.
This is about half a mile from where I live. Not quite as idyllic as it looks. To the right is one of the main roads out of town and the pic was taken from a bridge over a 4 lane motorway!
Custard with his birthday teddy.
Frou Frou with a cuddly duck that we bought for her after she had her annual injections.
Sunrise a couple of days ago. As we had to get Frou Frou to the vets early I took the other dogs out for an early walk. OK, I haven't been a total slob...
Looking forward to 2012, despite the Olympics!

Two weeks off from work with all sorts of holiday food and drink can make just about anybody a slob (except for Abby who is out running the streets at midnight). It will be a stretch tomorrow when we all go back to work. The dogs look happy with their stuffed friends.
I noted the all build up towards the Olympics while wandering through London. How's the hype going over there? I've read that a lot of the shows are going on hiatus because slow ticket sales during the Olympics. Are you making plans to attend any of the events?
There is something to be said for getting back to routine after an extended holiday. Glad you enjoyed your time off. I'm enjoying all the photos from your new camera!
I'm glad you're enjoying your new camera and new-to-you laptop. Nice combo!
I'm looking forward to getting back to the daily grind. I'm starting to think that sloth really is a deadly sin.
Gosh.... School is opening in a couple of days and I still cannot believe the holiday is almost over.
Why oh why!
So, back to work for you. It seemed like you had a great time with your family so you should be going back to work all relaxed and invigorated.
The country look a half mile from where you live looks similar to where I am. But it is a couple blocks from me. I live pretty much on the edge of town. So glad you are enjoying your new camera.
Agg79 - We don't have any interest in the Olympics, and resent the millions that are being invested in it with little real payback for the public. We plan to go camping while it is on...
Terri - Yes, I think it will be good to get back to the daily routine. Glad you are enjoying the photos too!
Abby - I think Sloth is probably the MOST deadly sin!
Shadowthorne - Yes, these holidays are over all to soon...
CiCi - Yes, I am totally chilled now - I was feeling the strain at the end of last term!
