'Tis a bit more like the season...

Getting a bit more into the spirit of things now.

Put some decorations up in the hall last night, but I stopped due to being a bit tired and having a puppy trying to eat my ankles.

Bought my daughter a great little present - her first bass guitar.  I think she will love it - small, light, and purple with a great sound.  Wish my first guitar had been as nice as this one!

Another thing that has added to my Christmas Spirit is that I will be going to a school carol concert!  I thought that this would be the first year in many that I would not get to sit and watch my children sing, but no!  My daughter is taking part (playing bass guitar in a band), so am forced to go along for the evening.  I hope everything goes OK - this will be her first time playing to an audience.

Looks like England will be getting a White Christmas too!  I think there has only been snow on one Christmas that I can remember, and that wasn't very much.  A real White Christmas would be sooo coooool.  Knowing my luck it will miss this corner of the country, so please send us some if you have any to spare!

More soon.

I never had a white Christmas.

If you want snow at Christmas, spend the holiday in London, Canada. So much snow there right now, cars have been trapped on the highway for a day and a half now. So much snow that the army has been sent in for relief.

Your daughter is a lucky girl to have a dad who plays guitar and encourages her to play. Have fun at the concert, I bet she does a great job. We got some snow but should be melted in a few days. I did step in some snow up to my calf on the way to the mailbox.

Glad your spirit is coming around! The guitar sounds SO cool!

I've got some spare snow for you. In some places, it was plowed into hills taller than me and in many places there is just nowhere to go with it. AND we're supposed to get more over the next few days...

wReggie - maybe you should have a Christmas vacation to somewhere cold?

Wigsf - Hah, I have a friend in Edmonton who complains about his taxes being spent on digging out the folks back east. He never gets rescued - never needs it! :-)

TechnoBabe - I will let you know how she gets on. Sone is best when it comes and goes fast, IMO.

Terri - Thought you might have some going spare! And you are getting more? Please post pics if it does arrive!
