Marilyn Monroe, the original "Candle in the Wind", died.
A sad loss, IMO. One of many people who have found themselves over their heads and unable to cope. Conspiracy theories about her death abound, of course...

Our Art Gallery just had an exhibit in her honour recently - went to check it out 2 times - was totally awesome - A lot more to her life than most know!

Yes, a sad loss. And like Princess Diana, she was only 36 when she died.

I remember hearing the report of her death - and Elvis's too - like frozen time - not that I was a big fan - but I knew it was momentous.
