A quick update

My wife's operation went really well, they have removed bits, fixed bits found that a mysterious lump has now vanished (phew!) and finally, on the way out, removed her belly button! This was a bit of a surprise, especially as she was planning to have it pierced this summer! I suggested that maybe she should have a new one tatooed on...

More soon.

PS thanks for all the comments on my last post!

Great! Fantastic! Wonderful! Yay!

A bit odd on the belly button removal, but I'm sure if that's the strangest part of the whole thing, then it's welcomed!

Love and hugs to you all!

I'm so glad to hear all went well! You're wife was going to get her belly button pierced? You two are SO cool! I would love to be cool but I'm such a wimp! Anyway, looking forward to having you back to your regular posting.

Why did they remove her belly button? I had no idea they were removable. :0)

I thought they actually reconstructed belly button when they were surgically removed for some reason? I've seen them do it on TV shows & they normally look like a real belly button. Hmmm?

I have my belly button pierced. I did it when I was 22. I have always, always loved it. People said when I get/got older I'd wish I'd hadn't, but I've never felt that way. I still think it's great!

Anyhow, I'm happy to know all went well with your spouse. That's the best thing in all this!

Hi John I am so glad she is OK. You sure maybe they have not sewn the belly button back on in a different place? You two could have fun looking forit again when she is all better. Hey John I like all your photos. We have some wonky and interesting medieval buildings in Rugby too. I should go hunt some out with the camera.

Best wishes to Clare get well soon. James

Hello John, glad to hear that she's alright.

I like the idea of a belly button tattoo, I wonder if I could pull off two....
