Delusions of Grandure?

Today a news headline caught my eye:

Rock Chef: Recovery Possible

What? Eh? Who is writing about me? What can I recover from?

Then I looked closer and saw that I had misread it:

Rock Chief: Recover Possible (Story here)

Huh, not about me after all, just talk about a troubled British bank (Northern Rock) that you may or may not have heard about.

But this got me wondering. Have I just gone slightly mad? I mean, who in their right mind would see a news headline that seemed to refer to an alias of theirs and even consider the thought that it was about them? OK, so maybe I have always been a bit unhinged but this feels just a bit extreme even for me!

What do you think?

Funny. Maybe not enough coffee. But I always wanted to know about your nickname anyways, so what does ROCK CHEF mean?

Do you cook rocks? j/k

I'm all for being a little unhitched.

Nothing wrong with that, unless of course you cook rocks. Like Jahooni, I'd be very interested on how you got your nickname. I know you like guitar = rock? Do you also like to cook = chef? Or are you a beer chef who likes to rock?

Yeah. Ino. I'll stop there.

Sometimes I hear someone calling my name only to look around and realize I'm mad.

Good times.

Don't worry, it happens to us all (I think).

I kind of know the feeling. Once in a while at work, someone will call me Terri-Terri, which always throws me off because most of them don't know about my blog. Or maybe they do. I better be careful what I write about the goings-on in the office!

I always think people are calling me or talking about me. Does that mean I have delusions of grandure or that I'm insecure and paranoid? Not sure:)

Sometimes I have do a double take when I am looking at something that I am reading to make sure I didn't misread it! I am sure that we are all a bit unhinged...must be to put it out there, but Ilike it!!

Rock Chef is my alter-ego. There, told you I was mad!

It comes from a habit I have got at home. When I am cooking a meal that will take a long time I take a guitar and amplifier into the kitchen with me. In between chopping, stirring etc I play away to myself. I even dreamed up a TV show based around Rock Chef. You can find this in the September archive of my old blog.

You know what's funny...I am just waiting for the day that someone is going to come up to me and say "are you Logziella?"...ya as if I am famous or something...LOL..it's not that but I just wonder if there will be someone who is local to me and reads my blog and ends up at a playplace seeing the crazy woman there and puts 2 and 2 together. LOL!!

I think when you start looking cross-eyed at this stuff, it's time to get some more sleep or lay off the coffee!
