Tomorrow

I am off on the long haul to take Number One Son back to Uni.

Up at 5am, on the road most of the day.

We are going to miss him, but we have had a good summer and he is now all geared up for his 2nd year.

In fact, he is SO geared up he had his hair cut!  From a long pony tail hanging almost to his waist, he now has a cut that works as either really smart or a shaggy bed-head look.  I get the feeling that he might be a bit more sociable this year...

See you soon!

Happy return to "Uni"! It's times like these that I'm grateful that our returns are just a hop down the road. No biggie if they've left something crucial behind.

A long pony tail hanging almost to his waist? Gone? I think that one can be both smart and shaggy bed-headed!

A new "do" to start the new year!
Hard to believe he's just now going back to Uni. You've certainly had a great summer though, and it's nice that he's so excited about going back.

As long as he doesn't look like he has a small animal on his head!

Have a good trip out to Uni. Hope the new year is phenomenal for him.

And he cut his locks? What's he trying to do - go for the respectable look?

That is quite a change from long to shorter hair.
I know you will enjoy the time with your son as you help him travel back to school. I like how you make education a priority in your family.

Cutting that much hair must have been a big decision! I hope he has a great school year!

Abby - The long hair was nice, but his new look is really good...

ShadowRun300 - his uni does start late - my uni has been back for 2 weeks now!

Agg79 - not necessarily respectable, I think he was getting tired of being labeled.

CiCi - Education IS important, especially when you have a good brain too!

Terri - It was quite a sudden decision, but he has not regretted it - he looks good and gets away from the instant labels that long hair attracts. I am sure he is in for a good year.
