More Photos from Malta

One of the touristy coastal towns.

A colleague working his way along the river bed.  Heavy rain this winter has caused havoc...

This dog wanted to follow us. Probably does not count as a Maltese Terrier!

You might remember the Robin Williams move Popeye?

Narrow streets in Valletta, the capital city.

Lunch in Valletta - Snickers cake.

Continuing my quest to find a Maltese Terrier - this dog seems to be a regular at this bar.

Fort St Angelo - part of the old fortifications of the island.  Wonderful history here!

Well this is a terrier and it lives in Malta - as close as I have been able to get to a Maltese Terrier.  Beginning to think that they don't exist in the country they are named after!

Finally, a shocking discovery - Maltese Guiness is lager!  Maybe the black version does not work in this climate?  Tasted great, very refreshing, but it was not the same!

You crack me up. When you post a photo of a real Maltese Terrier, I will be able to see what you mean. Was your lunch just Snickers cake? Is Fort St Angelo used for something now?

Awesome pictures! Sure hope you're able to take it all in and savor the moments, and that it's not going by in a blur. Those kind of trips tend to go by so fast.
Don't give up on your hunt for a maltese terrior!

CiCi - Lunch was the cake and a beer, in that order. What? :-)

Shadowrun300 - We are off to a village/small town today, so lots of dogs to see. Probaby lots more Terriers from Malta rather than Maltese Terrers, but we can hope!

Are you sure it wasn't just a Guinness glass containing a lager?

Wigsf - might have been...

I am enjoying your wonderful photos form Malta! Not sure which looks better, the snicker cake or the lager!
Enjoy!

Guinness lager? I've never tasted that version. One more to add to my beer quest. Great shots of the town/island. Seems to be a number of local Maltese dogs around. Spotted any Falcons?

What a beautiful place! Looks like you're having a great time, even if you haven't found a Maltese Terrier.

The Snickers pie looks delicious. Hope you had more than that for lunch!

More great photos! The Maltese tourism board thanks you.

And still no Maltese terriers! Makes me wonder what's in the snickers cake. I had a friend with a dog named Snickers...
