I have started to sort out some of my old wargames figures. Here is some of my fantasy Duckman army...
Next to him is Psyduck who is a truly giant duck in these games...
The thing on the toadstool was inside a Kinder Egg - the toadstool is made from modelling putty.
A close up ofsome of the Duckmen - these ones are armed with slings while others have swords or pollaxes.
Finally they have a Bard who sings songs as they head into battle - his favourite song is Freebird...

Had a strange dream last night - Mrs RC and I were at a 1970s disco...
"We are family!
I got all my sisters with me!"
The place had it all - huge disco ball, under floor lighting, the works.
We have never been to anything like that as a couple - in fact Mrs RC is sensitive to flashing lights so would have passed out within the first few minutes if it had been real, but that was conveniently forgotten in the dream. We were right in there, doing all those dreadful dances...
What a strange thing to dream!

Freebird as a Battle Cry? That'd be a hoot to hear. And with a Duckman army, that would be and interesting fight to see.
Disco Zombie Rock Chef? I could see you in a white suit strutting to "Stayin Alive".
Ahhh.... finally I've seen the Mighty Mallard Minions of Mire McDuck!
I always thought Psyduck as a platypus. :)
:) They are actually cute.
Agg79 - Me in a white suit? I think not somehow :-)
Shadowthorne - Psyduck was a bit of an odd one - one of my favourites...
Duckman? Duckman!!!
You get your down down and thrust your pelvis HUAH!
You thrust your pelvis HUAH!
You thrust your pelvis HUAH!
wigsf - I think you must be quacking up too! :-)
You obviously haven't seen this
Or this and this
wigsf - I have never seen those before! And there are loads of them!
Haaaaaaaaaaaa, now we all know you're quackers! Oh, this is such a fun little army, I love how you've built it with a whole, zany assortment of unique character's, certainly gives us a (strangely unsettling) glimpse into the mind of their creator..
Hmn, hubby just came in this morning to tell me of a dream he had involving me, last night too. We weren't disco-dancing (eyes skywards).
Shrinky - Unsettling? Hm, I guess so! Ah, one of those dreams, huh? ;-)
Love the duck army! I had no idea your love of war games included a silly side as well.
I dreamed I was back in high school, with my daughter, because somehow I had missed an English class when I was in school the first time and I was being made to complete the course so I could keep my diploma. Now there's a nightmare... being back in high school.
Terri - Silly? Hmph! :-)
Going back to high school? That is a nightmare! I was so happy to leave...
I would give anything to be dreaming right now....instead I'm wide awake with no hope of sleep...it's 4:38 a.m and I'm exhausted.
Your duck army is so adorable, not menacing....and that platypus = LOVE!
Awake at 4.38? That is wrong - there is only one reason to be awake at that time ;-)
Glad you like the army!
I wish that was the reason for the insomnia....sadly, it was not. Instead I was tossing and turning on the couch so as not to disturb Ken....ugh!
The army is fab, you should be proud....you are super creative!!!
Kiki - You are so considerate - but at least Ken appreciates you!
