A defining moment!

My daughter's taste in music has changed - gone is the girly-poppy stuff.

It is now My Chemical Romance!

Yes, I think they are great. This song became my wife's anthem in recent tough times!

Anyway, back to the story - last night she had her hi-fi cranked up and I had to ask her to TURN IT DOWN!

YES!!!!!

I told you it was a defining moment!

My 5-year-old niece is still into the girly-pop and I love that. I dread the day that she begins to like a different change in music. . . not b/c of the music (I happen to like My Chemical Romance), but b/c it means she's growing up.

Never heard of chemical romance. My taste in music has also changed since my teens. Used to be a backstreet boy fan (secretly I still am) but I also love Radiohead, The Script and Snowpatrol.

Jen - you probably have a few years before she changes her tastes...

Terri - Yep - and for us, it is the first time we have had to say "turn the music down"!

Sid - Backstreet Boys? Oh well, we all have our little secrets ;-) My wife likes Radiohead, etc.
