The End is Nigh!

The end of term, that is!  Just over a week to go!

Then Number One Son will be back from Uni and Christmas can really get under way.  We are planning on a good family Christmas this year - lots of fun together, less of the expensive presents - the kids are having trouble thinking of things they need anyway, so it is coming to things like gym membership for Arnie the power-lifter.  Oh, I am suspicious about one present that is being bought.  I am sure it is for me and I think I know what it is.  If I am right I will be a very happy bunny  :-)

Talking of bunnies, ours are getting into a breakfast in bed routine!  When I go to feed them in the mornings they look out of the bedroom part of their house and wait for me to poke food through the bars for them - going down to the food bowl is obviously too much effort these days, bless them!  Of course, I am happy to oblige, they look so cute!

OK, time to nip out for lunch before I take a small class this afternoon.  It is generally grey out there these days, but reasonably warm - VERY warm for the time of year!  Trying not to get too used to it, it is going to be a real shock when (if) the snow arrives!

Merry Christmas! The end IS nigh!
We never go big into gift buying at Christmas, although we like to splurge a bit on the kids. As they get older, they're harder to buy for, but they like cash. I want to know what you're getting! Those bunnies - too cute.

I got myself a warm pair of trigger mittens for winter bicycling (yes, we have snow). They are marvelous! I just got a second pair so I hopefully never have to be without! Stay warm, RC.

Ooooh! The good times are coming! :)
As the kids get older, we try to buy activities rather than gifts. Gives us more time together as a family. 'Course, a few gifts under the tree, along with some cash, is always fun too.
Stay warm and keep spoiling those bunnies! Who doesn't love breakfast in bed?!

Looks like you're looking forward to a nice break. And all the kids will be home. Fun times ahead!

We're running into the same thing with Christmas gift giving. The kids can't think of things they really need or want, so we're giving cash toward larger purchases in some cases, and buying simpler, more practical stuff in others.

The weather here has been unseasonably warm as well (after a couple of snowy days this past week.) We're looking forward to a stretch of early fall-like days, instead of the usual old-man-winter. Not complaining!

Unseasonably warm here too, and has been for the whole of November, very enjoyable as I haven't had to wear my winter boots or find my thermal gloves yet, but rather worrying. Must be the El Nino effect. I quite like it!
We are only giving prezzies to the littlies this year, and a 1 gift only exchange with the biggies. YoungerSon says he wants to forget the gift for the biggies, but I already bought one, oh well, never mind.

Oh, does everyone knows what in others Christmas shopping list?
I thought it was all damn mysterious till the time you open up the presents.
Hope you have a good one though :)

Its the rainy season here, but the nights are balmy.
