Good stuff

I guess it had to happen - Country music is getting bigger and bigger over here, and sooner or later some Brits would have to try their hand.

I think these two do a pretty good job, watch out for them!

For years I've gone back and forth from being a fan of pop/rock to being a fan of country. Right now, I listen to both.
These guys sound terrific! I can see them being a hit in the near future. Are they seriously one of the first to try their hand at country?

ShadowRun - We have a lot of people who do Folk music, but these are the first UK band to make it big here doing American style Country. Guess we have tended to feel that it is not our territory, leave it to Dolly etc.

Ramzu - the band are actually Hobbits...

I was a folkie back in the 60s in UK, went to all the folk music clubs, but never really caught on to US style country music since crossing the Atlantic. Too much cowboy, truckin' and sad stories. And I never looked good in a cowboy hat.

They certainly sound like the real thing!
I thought I heard banjo - never hurts to have some banjo in a C&W - but couldn't find it on stage.

Shammickite - IMO, the wearing of cowboy hats is all about the attitude...

Abby - there is banjo in there, but I don't think they were totally live on this show - probably live vocals with a backing track.

RK - why? What is so bad? Is it Country music in general or the fact that the Brits are having a go at it?

Love 'em! Then again, we're big on country music in this house!
