We have had about 3 days of constant fog, now. It clears a bit during the day - today might be the exception, though, as it looks thicker than ever at the moment - but comes right back as the sun retreats.
It is beautiful, IMO. I love it.
I love cycling in it too - the routes I take are winding so reduced visibility is not that big a deal really. Of course there is always one idiot, in this case a guy in a huge white van who seemed to think that my luminous yellow jacket and flashing red LED lights were not enough to make me visible.
He bibbed.
I stuck up a finger.
He drove off.
I went back to enjoying the ride.
One thing that did amaze me was the number of people driving along with no lights on. Silver cars are practically invisible in these conditions. Does not affect me, of course, but I will be wondering when the accident reports start turning up on the news later. Rather like the helicopter crash last night - flying low over Norfolk in dense fog....
Have a great weekend!
Remember, Spring is coming...

So I looked up bibbed and got "drink (something alcoholic)". Somehow, I don't think that would've warranted the finger from you, so he must've done something else.
I love fog too! We get a good fogging now and then, but it burns off quickly - no 3 day fog-ins for us. Enjoy! Keep wearing that jacket!
Sounds like it can be a really peaceful ride, minus the idiots driving without their lights on.
I have hope! Spring is coming! (Well, I know it's coming one way or another. I just hope ours behaves like spring is supposed to behave.)
Bibbed? I wonder if I've ever bibbed? I know I've stuck up a finger. (Weak moment...)
I'm not a fan of fog. I have young drivers on the road, and it scares me if they don't have a clear line of vision.
A light fog can be quite beautiful though. And when it's frozen, it's spectacular!
Be careful out there in the fog. Don't want you becoming one of those accident reports. Amazing how many idiots get licenses and don't know how to drive in less than perfect conditions. I've see a few driving at night without headlights on. Not sure if they are drunk or stupid but I give them a wide berth.
Keep reminding us: Spring really IS coming. Some day, some time.
What is bibbed? Inquiring Yank wants to know.
I understood "flipped off" though :)
