Christmas Dog Coats

Frou Frou in her new knitted coat.  Not impressed.

Custard liked it more.

Bryn didn't mind either!

Let's try again.  Still not impressed, she refuses to move when we dress her up - she just stands there sulking!

These are too funny/cute!! Maybe Frou Frou just doesn't like being reminded that her body is the size of Custard's and Bryn's heads.

Dogs can be particular about their accessories, though. China can't stand when the groomers put those tiny bows in her hair. Gives us that "I'm so humiliated" look until we take them out.

Awww! Those are adorable. When it got really cold here a couple of weeks ago, just about everyone had a funky coat on their dog. It was fun to see.

I tried to get my cat a sweater once and he walked right out of it. Then I tried to put it on another one, and he fell over. That was the end of the sweater experiment.

I'm always amazed how some dogs don't seem to mind being dressed up. None of my dogs have ever let me put clothing on them. Nice of Frou Frou to leave hers on long enough for a pic. :)

I cannot condone this act of animal shaming. If dogs were meant to wear clothes, they wouldn't be hairy all over.

Abby - Bows are another thing that Frou Frou hates...

Riot Kitty - a sweater for a CAT? Seriously?

ShadowRun300 - Yes, she does not try to get the clothes off, she just stands there looking miserable.

Wigsf - some men have hair all over them but that doesn't stop then wearing clothes - thank God!

Oh, these are just TOO funny! Love that the bigger "girls" didn't mind wearing the little sweater as a hat!

Lucy always has a similar attitude to Frou Frou when it comes to her coat. She's got very short fur and sometimes it gets so cold here that she has trouble deciding whether she's actually willing to go outside and relieve herself. On those days, she reluctantly agrees to wear it.
