Well I guess a Robin isn't only for Christmas!
This guy lives in the bushes behind Humphrey's stable. The cat food is for Orbrey, the semi wild cat that also lives there.
True to form, my mum made her way to the field this morning - my older brother gave her a live on his way to work and my younger brother will be picking her up on his way back from his morning job. Seems to work well, at least until she can get back on her bike, making everyone happy - she is being sensible but still gets to see her animals, leaving me to do the heavy work like clearing up Humphrey's mounds of poop. And Wigsf thinks that clearing up after a dog is nasty!

So... your brothers pick up your mom, but you pick up the poop? Guess you're not the favorite?
Cute robin! I think he's figured out that canned catfood is more plentiful and better than an early worm.
Pretty robin! He's got lighter shading than the ones we have around here.
Your mom is lucky to have help from all of her boys. Cleaning up pony poop does not sound like fun!
Abby - Let's just say that I am the only person that my mum will allow to look after Humphrey - so yes, I get to pick up the poop, but I also get to feed him, make sure his stable is nice, etc. She knows I will baby him in the manner that he is used to :-)
Terri - Hm, I am wondering if I might have to do a vblog about poop collecting...
Oh no. A vblog on poop collecting? Well, I guess I WOULD like to know more. I mean I know nothing about it now, so anything would be more. :)
Glad your mom is out and about. She'll be back to her old self in no time.
And like Terri said, your robins are so much lighter than ours. What a sweet bird!
Dogs look bad enough. Horses, I can only imagine.
Glad your mother is feeling better! Cute robin! And sorry you're stuck on poop patrol!
