Christmas is coming!

Just watched "A Christmas Story", my favourite Christmas movie. Now we are going to put up some decorations, which is going to be entertaining. This is our first time with the new sofa and it is so big it takes up the usual tree space!

Wish us luck!

You know that's one of my favorites too! We're in the midst of a snowstorm here today. I plan to stay cooped up in the house and watch movies. A Christmas Story is on the list. Last night I watched Christmas Vacation while doing some online shopping.

Good luck finding space for the tree. Our living room is so small, that's an annual challenge for us.

Are you saying the Christmas tree will sit on the sofa?

My little tree is about two feet tall, rotates, has fiber optics changing colors, perfect for my little apartment. I realized that this year I am in a better place, last year I didn't put up one Christmas item. This year I am jazzed about the decorations, have them all over the place, and even bought a few presents. Life is good.

Enjoy! My brother got my dad that leg lamp one year...and my stepmom put it right in the garage, where it has been ever since!

Oh hell yes! "A Christmas Story" is one of the best movies, ever!

I love the movie too! That and Christmas Vacation are staples in our house this time of year.
We put our tree in a different place every year, and haven't found one that's "just right" yet.
So good luck with yours! Don't forget to leave room for doggie gifts!

Terri - We found space for the tree in the end. Good luck with that snow - rumour has it that we have more on the way too!

CiCi - we have a small tree like that in our kitchen - I love it and it only takes a few seconds to do! Glad you are gearing up for Christmas this year - I am sure you will have a great time.

Abby - Thankfully there wasn't too much of that!

Riot Kitty - YOU CAN ACTUALLY GET THOSE LAMPS?!!!!!

Meleah - You are clearly a woman of good taste!

ShadowRun300 - Christmas Vacation is another one that we watch every year. Yep, we think we have the tree nailed now!

With a little creative arrangements, I know you can make the tree/sofa thing work this year. Christmas story has been one of our staples each year, but my perennial favorite has always been It's a Wonderful Life.

Agg79 - Yes, I do like that one too - I think I will grab it if I see a DVD, as it does not seem to get shown on TV very often these days.
