The weekend has finally arrived, and not a moment too soon! It has been a long and exhausting week, and we are now looking forward to a nice lazy couple of days.
Especially as it is Mrs RC's birthday on Sunday! She is planning to celebrate by not doing anything except enjoy being waited on and pampered. Should be a great day.

It seems to have been that kind of week all around. I too am relieved to have reached the weekend and am looking forward to a visit home from my daughter.

Happy Birthday Mrs RC! Seems like everyone has had one of those weeks lately. Must be something going round. Hope you are able to enjoy a quiet weekend. Those are the best kinds of birthday celebrations.
Hope Mrs RC had a wonderful birthday and that she was indeed pampered by the family all weekend. We are having slightly warmer weather here, got up to 32 degrees today and it felt great. I got some things done and felt more energetic with the sun shining today. I even cooked a nice meal tonight and have enough for another meal later this week. What did you fix for Mrs RC over the weekend?
