It rained and it rained...

Starting to feel like Winnie the Pooh over here.  Every day seems to feature at least a few hours of heavy rain - it takes great skill to time expeditions so they fall inbetween the down pours.

Last night's dog walk...

The ground was like a swamp, but we missed the rain. much to Frou Frou's delight.

This morning's ride to work...

I slowly woke up to the sound of torrential rain outside, but as I put my bike outside the clouds blew over, revealing blue skies.  I took this photo at about the half way mark as the next bank of clouds closed in on me, but somehow they missed me!

As a friend of mine said on Facebook - I am a "lucky boy!"

Oh, another piece of news - Mrs RC has started writing a zombie novel.  Hers is very different to mine, but I think it will be extremely good.  Knowing how fast she works once she sets her mind to something, you can expect to see hers published before mine!

Have a great week!

You ARE the lucky one if you were able to avoid the rains on your commute and Frou Frou's walk. On top of that, you got some great pics!
I've always thought Mrs. RC is a great writer. I miss her blog posts, so tell her I'm looking forward to some snippets of her zombie novel! It'll be interesting to compare the two. :)

Zombies from two separate points of view, should be interesting! I've never tried writing any stories, zombie or otherwise, since I left school. Maybe I should give it a go.

Nice rain-dodging on your part. That second photo makes it look like the skies opened up just for you, you lucky boy!

Oh! Well I should have read in the proper order and then I wouldn't have been surprised to read that Mrs. RC is writing a novel too.

Sorry to hear you were in the position of dodging rainfalls, but the skies sure were a pretty reward for the weather, huh?

Those are amazing photos - and funny, yesterday, I thought, "This is like Winnie the Pooh's blustery day!" So that makes two of us.
