I caught the main attraction of a local air display today: A Spitfire and a Mustang, two of the best planes produced during WW2. Arguably the Spitfire won the air war over Britain in 1940 and the Mustang won the air war over Europe in 1944.
As you can see I got a really good view and some lucky photos, using my highly technical "point and click" method.
This video clip might highlight exactly HOW lucky those shots were...
You will also see how beautiful the sky was - with today being the hottest day so far this year, apparently going to over 30C (about 90F). Same again tomorrow, apparently! WOO HOO!

You definitely have the 'point and click' method down pat.
We used to attend air shows quite frequently, as we have an AF Base close by, but as the kids grew older, we quit going. Your video brought back lots of memories!
Enjoy the weather!!
I don't think you're lucky. You consistently create beautiful photos in my opinion.
I know nothing about those planes other than what you just taught me, but they sure are pretty!
It does take talent, congrats! Those are great shots.
As I had a husband and two sons.... the only girl in the family was the dog.... we attended lots of air shows over many years. Loved it! Haven't been to one for ages. I miss all that craning my neck and looking up into the sky and ending up with a sunburnt face. But will probably start again once the 3 grandsons (and 1 granddaughter) are big enuf.
Always nice to see an airshow - especially the older WW2 planes in action. We have an old airfield about 5 miles north of my office that holds an annual Wings over Houston. The week before the show, we get a lot of flyovers from various planes.
Good thing you can point and click so quickly. Short video but it shows how fast they were moving. Glad you are having nice weather. Enjoy.
I always enjoy a good air show! Nice shots.
