Fat Cats and Red Sheds

Meet Ring-A-Ding...

When he first moved into my mum's house he was a scrawny little wild cat, who took to sleeping in one of the cupboards in her kitchen.  Cans of food that got in his way were kicked out onto the floor.  He is not a scrawny wild cat any more, he is a fat semi wild cat (is there such a thing as a truly tame cat?).  And he has stopped sleeping in the cupboard too - he now makes himself comfortable on chairs and sofas, and will not move for anyone.

This one is Garfield, another of my mum's cats.  As soon as the sun comes out you will find himself in a flower bed, catching some rays...

Meanwhile, there are a couple of new cats in town at my house.  Two young ones living next door, who do a good job of keeping the nasty rabbit hunters away, so we are putting up with them.

Frou Frou is not so happy with this, though, and tries to scare them away, but she just can't jump high enough.  Poor Frou Frou.

Meanwhile, Mrs RC has been in the garden again, painting things red and black.

Loving the new look shed!

Those are beautiful cats! My Conan used to knock thing off that were in his way too, now he just lays on them. I love the red and black in the garden, it's a very elegant touch.

Love Ring a Ding's colors. What a handsome cat! Garfield looks pretty happy. Guess they're living a good life.

Poor Frou Frou, can't even scare away the cats. She's just too cute.

The shed is great! Mrs. RC should have her own do-it-yourself show!

Aww, he seems to really have made himself at home!

The best thing about cats is their independent personalities and lack of concern for others. Wonder why I find it so adorable in cats and not so much in adults?
And I love that Mrs. RC adds so much personality to your garden. The red and black is a nice touch!

Terri - That would make interesting viewing!

Riot Kitty - He certainly has!

ShadowRun300 - I think the cat independence thing is why there are Dog People and Cat People. Thanks, our garden is small and unique to say the least!

RING-A-DING is a girl.

Lotta Joy - Probably, I have never got close enough to find out!

And how do you know?

Ring-a-ding doesn't look like a scrawny little cat any more who has learned who rules the roost. Poor Frou Frou - trying to protect the manor but just cannot seem to get rid of those nasty felines.

Love what Mrs RC has done with the shed. Definitely adds class to the garden.

Agg79 - Thanks, I have passed your comments on to Mrs RC. But watch out for the latest on Frou and the cats...
