At first it didn't look hopeful, but after a bit of warmth, some drops of milk and a couple of grains of sugar he was ready to take on the world again.
How adorable! ... In YOUR palm that is. I'm with Terri. I'd be a little freaked out to pick him up, or even touch him, but I'm glad you did! Hopefully he's stored up enough energy to be able to survive outside! Otherwise, a hamster cage may be in store for you....
Definitely cuter than a rat, but they are distant relations. Another addition to the RC menagerie? He looks cute, but what did Frou Frou and Custard think of him?

You found him and picked him up and fed him??? See, I would probably find him, scream and run in the opposite direction!

Terri and ShadowRun300 - He is only a tiny baby field mouse! Hm, maybe I never said that Mrs RC and I used to have a pet RAT?
Oh yeah - this guy is much cuter than a rat. I liked Templeton in Charlotte's Web. Beyond that I would rather never see a rat. *shiver*

ShadowRun300 - Domestic rats are great - clean and intelligent, they make great pets.
Agg79 - He is back in the garden now. Custard just got over excited and bounced around like an idiot. Frou Frou just wanted to kill him.
